Program Description

We get that it’s difficult to choose a career, especially when it comes to science, the trades and the tech sector. With so many options available these days, why not take a year and find out what you’re really passionate about? That’s what the Pre-Technology program is all about. This exciting one-year Ontario College Certificate program allows you to delve into various areas of technology and will help you prepare for and decide on your next step. You’ll study with a hands-on approach, exploring a variety of technology subjects such as AutoCAD, practical electronics, welding, machining, computer applications, health and safety, physics and transportation. In addition, you’ll discover pathways to programs in the Faculty of Technology, including Building Technology, Applied Science and Technology and Transportation Technology.
