Check My EligibilityThis extended master’s programme is designed for international students who wish to pursue postgraduate study at London Metropolitan University and will allow guaranteed progression on to our International Relations MA.Our Extended Master’s in International Relations begins with a 15-week programme that will help improve your English language ability and study skills before starting your master’s course in international relations. There is also the opportunity for those who need extra English language support to complete a pre-sessional course prior to the extended master’s programme. Following this initial 15 weeks, you will go on to join our International Relations MA. This will teach you about current international relations in a global context. During the course, you’ll cover a variety of topics including international politics, public law and relations theory through lectures, seminars and discussions. To prepare you for a career in international affairs, you’ll apply your knowledge through presentations, group work and a final dissertation. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to conduct analytical research into many areas of international relations and be able to explore a number of exciting career paths.
