Program Description

UMass Boston's MS in Finance (MSF) is a 10 course, 30 credit degree program, emphasizing investment management & quantitative finance (IMQF). The program teaches advanced financial techniques; students have the opportunity to gain training and exposure in the areas of Fintech, Data science in finance, Risk management, and Quantitative analysis. Students must complete a minimum of 10 courses, including 5 required finance courses, 4 finance electives, and the required MSF capstone. Additionally, based on a review of transcripts, 4 prerequisite courses must be satisfied or waived through prior relevant coursework.*
