Program Description
Working one-on-one with youth, graduates of the Youth Care Worker Diploma make a difference in their community. You will learn more about abnormal psychology, agency administration and community development, conflict resolution, small group facilitation, conflict diversity and family systems, sexual victimization and therapeutic intervention strategies. This is a new program enhancement and will begin in September 2021.

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
