Program Description
Property, people and borders need to be protected by dynamic individuals who possess a diverse set of specialized skills. If you’ve been thinking about a career that is valued and respected, the Protection, Security and Investigation program will train you to be the best of the best, while also giving you a strong base to compete for a spot in Ontario Constable Selection System. You'll study the theory of human relations, combined with practical aspects and applications of law enforcement, police powers, community policing and investigation. You’ll also learn about the justice system, issues in diversity, and how to write for the human services. You’ll be prepared to compete within the Ontario Constable Selection System for employment in public law enforcement or related careers.

Study and Work in Canada
Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in.
